This will be a complaining entry today.

I did a little calculating today since some of my psychology professors (well technically the ones I'll be running experiments for) were asking me for my schedule as to when I would be available. It seems that I'll be spending about 20 hours a week (not including meetings) conducting experiments (10 hours per professor), and then about 8 hours worth of actual classes.

What I find really interesting is that I'm only taking 14 credit hours and I'll be the most busy I have ever been.   Mon, Wed, it's 9:00am - 6:30pm; Tues, Thurs it's 10:10 - 6:30pm; and Fri it's 9:00am - 5:00pm. Unfortunately, the only breaks I'll be getting would be a 1 hour for lunch (which I finally managed to squeeze into my schedule) and passing time. It wouldn't be such a bad schedule if it weren't for the 20 hours of experiments. Oh well. If this doesn't look good on a graduate school application, I don't know what will. I think I would have more than an adaquate amount of research experience. I've been doing a lot of it the past 2 years.

On the lighter side of things, my friend Lisa in MN said something I don't think I'll ever get over. She said, "There are two solutions to life's problems. (1) Be online more. (2) Drink more alcohol."

Okay, I think I'm done with my ranting.

You Are Aphrodite!

A total shining star with a ton of admirers

And no wonder: you live life to the fullest!

When things get bad, you can easily take off to a happier place

But occasionally, you need to deal with problems head on

hmmm...somewhat ironic, huh?

i suppose i'll write something since i've been getting a couple of complaints lately.

i took the gre's on sat. math went really well, verbal...well, let's just say i learned that english is not my strong point. i didn't do bad per say, but i didn't do as well as i would have liked either. oh well! i'll just try getting into grad school with those scores and hope that everything else will weight itself out. if not, i'll just retake the stupid $130 test in spring and try for a different semester.

i'm glad summer school is almost over. it's nice to know i'll be able to go home for a bit and hang out with my other friends there. yay! i hope you all are ready for super smash, anime, and late night perkin's malts! woot!

a few things:

1) apparently my parents bought a new tv. it's a 50" HDTV plasma screen. what really boggles me is that they bought it so my dad could watch king kong. i knew they were thinking about buying one for a while...but the day they bought it, it was so daddy could watch a dvd. hmmm. apparently he refuses to watch it without a nice tv. oookay. *smile and nod* but i can't wait to try out some video games on it when i get home. muhahaha!

2) parents are in town this weekend. yay! that means lots of shopping and food. food is good...i like food. we did my groceries yesterday...they said they spend that much for the whole family and it lasts them a while. i spend that much and it lasts me a week...if that. they said to make it last a month...fat chance on that happening!

3) taking summer classes. yay! i've never been so bored. all i do is eat, sleep, play video games, and go to one class in the morning. however, it really isn't all that bad. i can't complain now that i have videogame time. yes! although at the rate i'm going, i'll be done with all my videogames before summer is over! i just bought magna carta and smash brothers melee (my parents said i could treat myself for getting good grades ). i'll be starting those once i finish doing all the sidequests for kingdom hearts (that's when i'll actualy beat the game).
